2008 Present day
Sunday October 12, 2008, we had our dedication of new section of our church building. From the beginning to the end the Lord has been glorified! God not only provided the volunteers ~ Hard Hats for Christ and many others ~ but he provided the finances for the building. God is growing our church and we now have the space to serve His people.
Moreland Bible Church is truly a tribute to the dedication of all the volunteers who have donated their time and skill and to His people who have given sacrificially!
Praise God for his faithfulness!
We are excited about moving ahead with plans to enlarge our church building!
By joining the two existing structures, we will have an attractive use of all the space available to us.
For more information, read the following 'Letter to the Community' and download the architectual plan for the building exterior.
“Unless the Lord builds the house, its builder labors in vain.”Psalm 127:1 We, at MorelandBibleChurch, are joyfully assisting God in rebuilding His house at the corner of S.E. 17th Avenue and Ellis Street. Our shared effort promises to be an exciting journey. We warmly invite everyone in the community to join us, in this adventure. The Lord is strengthening His house, and our fellowship in Christ, beginning with our congregation. As we examined the various “one another” passages in the Bible (love one another, encourage one another, bear one another’s burdens, speak the truth in love to one another, forgive one another…,) we found ourselves called to deeper levels of commitment: to our Lord, to one another, and to the community into which Godhas called us.The Bible teaches us that God calls Christians to become more than just acquaintances, and to forge deep, abiding friendships based upon serving one another in Christ. The world cries out for real and everlasting love. God builds our faith as we welcome new members into His family, at Moreland. You may see some of these joyful faces by clicking on Kids’ Club, or come and visit us in person. If a picture is worth a thousand words; then a genuine, caring person is worth a thousand pictures.Events, and worship services, are listed on the Contact-Us page. God is renovating the outer structure for His family at Moreland, with help from the group Hard Hats for Christ. We are stepping out in faith, confident in His ability to provide ample workers and resources to complete the tasks, ahead.Added space for fellowship and classroom activities will be used to benefit the Moreland community, and beyond.After-school programs, summer activities, and tutoring are just some of the ways we will help young people.Another plan calls for a mid-week, contemporary service (featuring awesome music) affording ample opportunity to ask profound questions about life, and to explore what it means have a relationship with the living God.
Help strengthen the community, by joining your friends at MorelandBibleChurch.
